Expectations of the "Podium" users...

The purpose of the "Podiums" is to offer everyone a place to discuss the topics and issues concerning the towns of each forum. We don't require that you be a resident of one of those towns or even this State. If you have something to add to the conversations, by all means do. Should you notice that a town you live in that is in the Kennebec Valley region is not listed, let someone on the Administrative staff know and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

What we do expect in these forums is a certain level of respect. We highly respect the right to anonymity and do not tolerate the "outing" or "attempted outing" of any member by another member. Some members may not feel comfortable using their real name and that is their right. We do not allow "name-calling" or personal attacks of members by other members. Please refrain from the usage of "full names" whenever possible. "Defamation of Character" can be a nasty thing.

The Staff reserve the right to edit or delete posts where they feel necessary. If either of these actions is found to be required, you will be sent a Personal Message explaining why and the opportunity to plead your case. We are fair and if just cause is shown, we may put the pre-edited or deleted post back.
