From The TV5 Forecast Center:

A storm centered just off the mid-Atlantic coastline this morning will slide along the southern end of the Gulf of Maine today. A second area of low pressure coming out of the Great Lakes will move across northern New England today and tonight. A trough connecting the two storms will produce a period of light snow later this afternoon into tonight. The storm will likely bring a few inches of snow too much of the region, with most spots seeing 1"-3" of snow by the time it winds down late tonight. Hancock and Washington counties could see some higher snowfall of 3"-6".

A ridge of high pressure will build into New England on Friday bringing sunshine back to our forecast with temperatures once again running a few degrees above normal. Another storm will head into the Great Lakes later Friday night, then redevelop over southern New England early Saturday before moving to our east Saturday afternoon. The storm will likely bring snow, and mixed precipitation to Maine later Friday night into Saturday morning. Drier air wrapping around the storm will bring the precipitation to an end Saturday morning and allow for some sunshine to break out during the afternoon. High pressure returns Sunday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs near 30°.

Today: mostly cloudy. Light snow developing during the afternoon. High temperatures between 26°-34°. Northeast wind 10-15 MPH.

Tonight: periods of snow. Snow will taper off after midnight. Most areas will see between 1"-3" of snow while areas across Hancock and Washington counties could see between 3"-6" of snow. Overnight lows between 16°-24°. North wind 5-10 MPH.

Friday: a few lingering snow showers possible during the morning then becoming partly to mostly sunny. Highs between 27°-36°. Northwest wind 5-10 MPH.

Saturday: mostly cloudy with areas of light snow and mixed precipitation during the morning then becoming partly to mostly cloudy late morning into the afternoon. Highs near 30° north to the mid-30s towards the coast.

Sunday: mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 20s to mid-30s.

Monday: increasing clouds. Snow possible at night. Highs in the mid-20s to low 30s.
