Forecast 10-17-08

Post by Outspoken on Fri Oct 17, 2008 4:43 am

Skies are mostly clear across the northeast, with the exception of some clouds in northern Vermont and New Hampshire. No worries about those clouds making their way to us though. Northwesterly winds and high pressure will make for a mostly sunny day across the "Pine Tree" state with highs in the mid 50's. Winds could be strong at some points this afternoon, with sustained winds 10-20mph and gusts to near 30! Skies will remain mostly clear or partly cloudy overnight. As a result of cold Canadian air, weakening winds, and clear skies, low temperatures will dip well into the 30's and even some upper 20's in low laying valleys. The weekend looks amazing. High pressure stays in place and sun will be abundant. Look for highs in the 40's to lower 50's on Saturday, and low to mid 50's on Sunday. Monday doesn't look half bad either, with highs around 50 and partly cloudy skies.

Today: Mostly sunny. Windy. High in the mid 50's. Winds N/NW 10-20mph G30.

Tonight. Partly to mostly clear. Cold. Low 28°-35°.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. High in the lower 50's.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. High in the mid 50's.

Monday: Partly cloudy. High in the 50's.

Tuesday: Cloudy. Showers possible. High in the 40's to near 50°.
