Forecast 10-08-08

Post by Outspoken on Wed Oct 08, 2008 4:38 am

High pressure will remain in control today, providing us with lots of sunshine. Temperatures will be a few degrees milder, reaching the low to mid-60s across the state this afternoon. Skies will cloud over tonight as a weakening cold front pushes towards New England.

A weakening cold front will pass through the state Thursday. This will give us mostly cloudy skies and a few light showers. The front will be a fast mover, so as the front moves to our east during the afternoon, clouds will begin to break up later in the day. High pressure will build into the region again for the end of the week and the start of the weekend. With that said, expect partly to mostly sunny skies for Friday and Saturday. Some moisture moving through the ridge of high pressure on Sunday will give us a few clouds throughout the day. Temperatures from Friday through Sunday will top off in the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Today: sunny and pleasant. High temperatures between 61°-67°. West wind 5-10 MPH becoming southwest.

Tonight: becoming cloudy. Lows between 38°-48°. Light south wind.

Thursday: mostly cloudy with a few light showers possible. Some breaks of sunshine possible late in the afternoon. Highs between 57°-67°. Southwest wind 10-15 MPH.

Friday: partly to mostly sunny. Breezy. Highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Saturday: mostly sunny with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s.

Sunday: partly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s to mid-60s.
