Forecast 09-17-08

Post by Outspoken on Wed Sep 17, 2008 10:17 am

As we enter the last few days of summer we couldn't be seeing weather any better than this! Today will feature sun and comfortable highs for the 3rd day in a row. Look for highs in the Bangor area to be in the upper 60's to lower 70's, areas north and downeast will get into the mid to upper 60's. Clouds will increase a bit tonight with the approach of a cool front from our northwest. This front doesn't have any rain coming along with it, but it does have plenty of cool air. Lows overnight will be manageable before the front passes (likely in the upper 40's to lower 50's) but after the front passes our temperatures will take a big hit. Look for clouds to decrease early Thursday, but as mentioned before highs will be chilly, likely to only rise into the upper 50's or low 60's. Lows during the overnight Thursday will plummet into the 30's and in some cases get down below freezing.

Today: Early morning fog. Then mostly sunny. High in the 60's to lower 70's.

Tonight: Clouds increase. Low in the upper 40's to low 50's.

Thursday: Clouds decrease. High in the 50's to lower 60's.

Friday: Mostly sunny. High in the 60's.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. High in the upper 60's to near 70.

Sunday: Variably cloudy. Chance of showers. High in the 60's.
