Forecast 05-23-08

Post by Outspoken on Fri May 23, 2008 5:14 am

Showers started the day off on Friday but will taper off in the late morning. We aren't out of the woods yet though! One last disturbance will rotate around a departing upper level low. The disturbance will kick off showers and maybe a few isolated thundershowers during the afternoon. Any rain will be light and will not last very long. Skies begin to clear tonight as high pressure noses in from the west.

Memorial day weekend starts off with a beautiful day Saturday. Skies will be partly cloudy and temperatures will improve to the upper 60's. Sunday is even better with mostly sunny skies and highs breaking the 70 degree mark! A cold front will approach the northeast Monday, but I think showers will hold off until the late afternoon, so break out those grills!

Tonight: Gradual clearing. Lows in the mid to lower 40's. Winds north 5-10mph.

Saturday: Becoming partly cloudy. High in the mid to upper 60's.

Sunday: Mostly sunny. High in the upper 60's to lower 70's.

Memorial Day: Partly cloudy. Chance of afternoon showers. High in the lower 70's.

Tuesday: Chance of showers. High in the 60's.
