'Arts in the Park' set for Aug. 21 in Waterville

WATERVILLE -- "Arts in the Park," to be held in Castonguay Square from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 21, will feature area artists and crafts people making and selling their artwork.
The first-time event is sponsored by REM, an organization of area citizens who develop projects to improve life in Waterville. The event's rain date is Aug. 28.
Arts in the Park is envisioned by REM to help make Castonguay Square an ongoing gathering place for artists, said REM director Faye Nicholson.
