seriously, I don't know what a lobbyists job is, I hate politics, you'd think I'd learn this stuff, but I don't want to, I totally hate politics. So when people state something about a lobbyists, I pretend to know something, and a picture in my mind is of a guy in a suit with a briefcase walking up and down a lobby. Am I close?

It would seem that my friend who works for the State (thankfully not in the Tax Dept.) was incorrect. Either that or the Federal Government has decided to return to their original date for the jumping off point of the "Stimulus Rebates". The following link will take you to the Reuters News article posted here showing the actual dates. 
I think people will be much more pleased with the new dates.
